I FOUND a scanner today! It didn't have any CDs or power cords but I've somehow made it work.
It does very clean scans. I'm proud to say that my traditional pieces will be rolling in now as I make myself time.

I think it previously belonged to a friend of mine that used to live with me. I'm almost sure since my family seemed shocked when I brought it in.

I'm going to buy myself a new scanner in a couple of weeks! It's gonna be Canon!

So after long waiting & tedious re-downloading (Vista! *shakes fist in air*) I obtained my Adobe Flash CS4 Pro trial! My god! This program is so complicated to me, I almost wanted to run back to my simple Photoshop. Anyone have any VERYYY simply put tutorials for me? Or any tips from yourself? It took me 3 hours to make a crappy button. &that's cause I copied the code from someone else. But man. I feel GREAT! I did something!!!

If I can manage to teach myself within this trial time all the fundamentals, I've agreed with myself to start saving up for the product. I like what I see other people do, but not what I do.

If some Flash expert sees (and reads!) this journal, please give me a hollar! I want to know everything I need to make an interactive picture kind of thing.. you know, they're all over DA-- the roll over "tickle", punching something, ect.
